Anthem Strong Families celebrates 10th Annual Dallas Black Marriage Day held at the Omni Hotel - Dallas, April 23rd, 2016, doors will open at 5:00 p.m. Winning couple will receive a Couples Getaway at any Omni Hotel & Resort.
Dallas Black Marriage Day began with the passion to spread a positive message of marriage in the African American community. DBMD honors couples who inspire their friends and family with their love and commitment to each other with a special dinner and awards ceremony. Each year outstanding couples are nominated by family and friends. The winners are awarded with the title "Dallas Couple of the Year" and inducted into the Dallas Black Marriage Day Hall of Fame at a gala affair.
We are are proud to announce Dr. Rosario Slack as the Dallas Black Marriage Day Keynote Speaker. Mr. Slack has 20 plus years of experience working with couples, parents, teens and families and has traveled across the country speaking to teens, singles, couples, and professionals who work with families, as well as consulting with government agencies implementing family enrichment programs. He is also co-author of Basic Training for Couples, CEO of Rozario Slack Enterprises, LLC and received his masters and doctorate degrees from Interdenominational Theological Center at the Atlanta University Center.
