Southern Dallas Barbershop Reopens Under New Management
Friday, June 26, 2015, at 4 p.m., Owner, Braylon Lester, along with the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, will celebrate the Re-Opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony presenting the newly renovated B & B Cuts and Styles Salon. The ceremony will take place at the new B & B Cuts and Styles Barbershop, located at 3330 Elsie Faye Heggins St. Dallas, Texas 75215.
Entrepreneur Braylon Lester invested $30,000 in the renovations and upgrades to the barbershop. Mr. Lester stated “I want to make a positive impact in the community and usher in more economic development in Southern Dallas with the support of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, Community Leaders and Entrepreneurs, I believe we can do it but only if we work together” . Mr. Lester is a graduate of Dallas Skyline High School and Stephen F. Austin University. Braylon is a Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce Quest For Success Award Recipient as well as a Initiative for a Competitive Inner City ICCC (National) Award Winner featured in Fortune and Black Enterprise Magazines.
B & B Cuts and Styles Barbershop Ribbon Cutting and Community Celebration is free and open to the public. Elected officials and community leaders are invited. The first 100 people will receive $10.00 Hair cut services. Free food and drinks are provided.
