Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks & Resource Connection of Tarrant County Hosts Fort Worth Juneteenth 150th Anniversary Celebration Health Fair April 25th, 2015
The Ethel Ransom Humanitarian & Cultural Club will join Commissioner Roy Charles Brooks & Resource Connection of Tarrant County to celebrate Fort Worth Juneteenth 150th Anniversary Celebration Health Fair on April 25, 2015 at the Tarrant County Resource Connection Conference Center - 2300 Circle Dr., Ft. Worth, TX 76119 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m.. The Health Fair will address the health concerns, needs of the underserved and provide outreach services, including but not limited to screenings, educational materials, and presentations that are available through health care organizations and businesses.
Approximately 1,000 kids, parents, community leaders from FT. Worth will attend the free community event featuring the following:
- Healthcare workshops - Insurance benefits, Diabetes Management & Prevention, Breast Cancer Awareness, Home Health Care, etc.
- Screenings - Mammograms, Dental and Eye Exams, Blood Pressure, Diabetes, HIV/AIDS, etc.
- Blood Donations
- And Much More
