Eighty-Twenty Development, an Irving-based real-estate fund, is developing GLÕ by Best Western International in DeSoto, TX. When the hotel opens, it is going to have 75 rooms with 1,000 Sq. ft of meeting space, a fitness center, a relaxing spa area, and an inviting communal space for work and play. GLŌ by Best Western is a boutique hotel prototype by Best Western International Hotels and Resorts for the next generation of savvy travelers, who are technology focused.

Eighty-Twenty Development Managing Director, Jiger Patel said, “Eighty-Twenty Development is excited to be part of DeSoto, it has a great industrial park and is in close proximity to Dallas Downtown. GLŌ by Best Western will allow visitors to DeSoto and Dallas Downton to gain a unique experience with its technology focus, its unique amenities and services, and convenient location.” The hotel will be located at 1305 N I 35 E, DeSoto, TX 75115.

Eighty-Twenty Development has chosen 3i Contracting LLC as the General Contractor to build this hotel. President/CEO of 3i Contracting LLC, Micheal Williams is a DeSoto native. The ground-breaking ceremony for the hotel is scheduled to be July 26th, this is the first GLŌ hotel to ground break in Texas, and second in the United States. DeSoto EDC has approved a grant to attract this project to the city. The Hotel is scheduled to open in June 2018.
