Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce Host the 89th Annual Awards Banquet

The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce will host the 89th Annual Awards Banquet, Friday, October 23rd, 2015 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, Ballroom C, 650 South Griffin Street, Dallas, Texas, Reception 6:00 p.m. – Dinner & Program 7:00 p.m., sponsored by Wells Fargo and Texas Instruments.
The 89th Annual Awards Banquet serves at the premier event of the year for the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce and honor individuals who have made significant volunteer contributions to the civic enhancement of the Dallas African American Community and the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce. This year the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce will be even more exciting as we share the evening with Keynote Speaker Antoinette Tuff, Author of "Prepared for a Purpose: The Inspiring True Story of How One Woman Saved an Atlanta School Under Siege".
The highlight of the event is the giving of the Thomas L. Houston Community Service Award, established in 1985 to honor individuals who have made significant volunteer contributions to the civic enhancement of the Dallas African American Community.
