Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce will host their 31st Annual Quest for Success Seminar & Luncheon
“Connect to Grow”
The Quest for Success Award recognizes 6 African American entrepreneurs in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area by honoring their significant contributions to the business and civic communities. These outstanding and committed honorees are selected for their leadership, dedication to the community, and business achievements. Recipients will be saluted at the awards luncheon with a video presentation documenting their successes.
This year’s Quest program will begin with a business workshop for “Connect to Grow” designed for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. The program culminates with the 31st Quest for Success Awards luncheon hosted by John McCaa of WFAA Channel 8.
Workshop 1 – Is Entrepreneurship for me?
9 a.m. – Learn pertinent and immediate steps to start or grow your business. This workshop will help you discover your passion for business, teach tips on how to intentionally develop a growth plan for your company, and will challenge you to develop your own personal road map for success.
Workshop 2 - It takes a village? How to take your business to the next level
10 a.m. – Explore opportunities and learn from a panel of experts who can guide you in financing your dream, marketing your business in the age of digital and social media, and putting the right people on your team.
