StandUp RoundUp (SURU) Comedy Festival founder Marvin Michaels is a veteran comedian originally from Texas now residing in Chicago IL. Marvin had been a network writer, held talent development contracts with NBC Universal and touring headliner around the US. Marvin had the vision to fill an entertainment void by way of creating a comedy festival where (seasoned and not so seasoned) individuals in the world of comedy can compete. In addition to competing with some of the elite and funniest comedians in the industry, the SURU Fest shall provide participants the opportunity to network and hone their skills.
