This event is powered by IGNITE and the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce to promote and increase African American women leadership throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth. A continental breakfast will be provided.
The Golden Circle is a network of Dallas/Ft. Worth area African American women leaders engaged to help increase business development opportunities for African American women-owned businesses and works to promote African American women leadership in the private and public sectors. Our strategy is to include private consultations with corporate leaders enlisting their support regarding our concerns and tactical goals.
IGNITE serves young women (14-22) in their own communities, with an emphasis on those who are underserved. These are girls who may or may not have the confidence to run for office, but have a harder time seeking out and self-nominating for the kinds of leadership opportunities and training they need to get there.
The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce (DBCC) serves as an advocate for the creation, growth, and general welfare of African American businesses in the Dallas community. The Chamber actively promotes the expansion of business opportunities of our membership through referrals, partnerships, seminars, technical assistance, and marketing. It is the oldest African American Chamber in the United States.
