Raising Awareness and Support for families with preemies
Wonderland Preemie Kids Charity Fashion Event will be held at Lofty Spaces 816 Montgomery Street Dallas, Texas 75215, Sunday November 15, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The fashion show, hosted by Dawn Neufeld, will benefit the One Tough Cookie Foundation, featuring preemies strutting the runway.
The One Tough Cookie Foundation was created by Michael & Kendra Sanders to give to a need they experienced after having their Tough Cookie Preemie Kenai Sanders in December 2013. While "living" at Cook Children's Kendra had the opportunity to speak to mothers who also had the hardship and pinpointed areas that would make a difference in the lives of other families with preemies. This organization gives vital information to the seriousness of prematurity by starting support groups for parents who have been down the journey or have lost their precious Tough Cookie's to this condition as well as provide preemie packs and offer meal cards to parents.
